A Season With Our Farmers: Natural Farming in Practice

Every Madhura Naturals grain comes from farms practising natural, rain-fed agriculture — many of them certified organic, all of them chemical-free for at least seven years.

What natural farming looks like

• Jeevamrutham instead of urea: a fermented culture of cow dung, jaggery and gram flour feeds the soil biology.
• Neem and buttermilk sprays instead of pesticides.
• Desi seeds, saved and exchanged between farming families for generations.
• Mixed cropping — millets grow alongside pulses, so the land never exhausts.

We pay our farmer partners 15–20% above market rate and buy their entire chemical-free harvest. When you buy a pouch of ragi, that is where the money goes.
